We're visiting the beaver in very beautiful surroundings where we observe the beavers work of art with the food supply, refurbishing of the dam and repair jobs of the shelter. This delightful performance takes place on a distant location in deep forests of old mining districts.

Late winter night in lynx territory

We visit one of Sweden's most lynx frequent areas that are in Sveaskog's newly formed Ecological Park Färna (March 2005) a great natural area where we track the lynx trails. We hear screams after mating season, and follow fresh tracks in the snow. During the night we spend in a cosy coal cabin or in the old timber shed, which also serves as our base camp.
